Prestressed steel strand is mainly used for post-tensioned prestressing and pre-tensioned prestressed concrete engineering. Die-drawn steel strands are mainly used for lifting projects, but also for projects such as nuclear power. 19 wire large diameter steel strand is often used in mine supporting anchor cable. Unbonded prestressed steel strands are commonly used in building slabs and some geotechnical anchor cables. Galvanized steel strands are commonly used in bridge tie bars, cables and external prestressing projects. The use of steel strands coated with epoxy resin is similar to that of galvanized prestressed steel strands and is suitable for projects with high durability requirements.
